The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens
Sean Covey
1998

Sean Covey clearly has and wants to be on a friendly and happy relationship with the content of this book. The tone Covey takes throughout the book is as if he is on a steep and dangerous rollercoaster ride, excitable and thrilling. Covey looks at this book as if it were something that needed to be read with all the energy the reader could muster. Covey seems excited by the littlest things such as teens habits and little personal stories. He shares everything willingly. Then agian it is probably essential and neccesary for Covey to take to his book in this way for the sake of the teens who will be reading it.
Teens are the designed and most likely group of people to read this book. Most teens have stress problems and fall into depression at some point. This is the moment in which most will read this book. Covey shows his excitable side to attempt and bring these teens back on thier feet. Covey wants to pull them out of depression and onto his habits, which will then apparently lead them to be a highly effective teen.If Covey did not write this book in the excitable and happy way he did, I believe most teens would not have looked twice at this book. I think that almost every single one would have glanced at it and moved on. However, with Covey's jolly mood, he hooks teens and is able to keep thier interest in his delightful book.
